Ocean’s Third is a modern surf company that inspires its customers to get out there and go after the adventure they crave. The logo is a combination of the letter O and the number 3, and the round curves of the two help create an aesthetic wave. For this class project, I was tasked with combining a random letter and number in order to create an effective logo for an imaginary company. I utilized a combination of bold typography and vibrant cool colors to mimic the intensity of surfer athletes, as well as aspects of the ocean. I first created the logo and branding, and then continued to create the animation and website later in the second semester.
